Terance Mckenna talks about how he used to eat mushrooms in a room of complete total black darkness that is soundproof...so that when the drugs start to kick in his mind has to make up his surroundings....has anoybody else done anythyign like this on acid? if so what sorts of realities did you create?

ya Lilly did a lot of work with that...

but anyway... the psychedelic mind flurishes in dark quiet settings.. theres nothing around to assist in dragging the ego back into control.. nothing to hold you down to the forced realilty, I once sorta tried something similar, except I was exhausted after taking everything off the walls and alot of shit outta my room that I left some of the furniture.. Its also the kind of setting leary suggests in the psychedelic experience for a full inward journey..
