Hip Forums has a dedicated group of seniors. Many have been with us for more than a decade or two! Sadly many have passed on. Please check-in here so we can know you're still alive. You're welcome to update us on your life if you like.
Still rocking the HF apple cart, whenever I get a chance, between rebuilding the derelict houses that both our daughters bought. A quick lick of paint is one thing, but they expect me to rebuild the walls to paint in the first place. Not to mention, replacing all the wiring, plumbing and heating. I forgot to mention the solid hardwood floors and looking after their cars.
Scratcho checking in. Been around since before the 2004 changeover--probably since 99 or 2000. Sadly , so--so many of the good, interesting and funny old posters have just stopped over the years. Church of the Good earthers have gone since Ranger passed---MamaKcita and family have gone--toolmaggot( one of my favorites) --gone. So many more--I could go on ---I wish some would check back in. ----Good to see you you posting more, Skip.
I am only 35, so not a senior person (yet), but am a senior for the site. I actually moved over here to Portland. How long have you lived out here?
Still Kicking, still working, still in love w my Princess. Knocking on 70 years of age. Enjoying Hip Forums.
63Yrs old. Been on hf since abt 2008. Backthen was a sorta sister site rainbogatherings.org . which i think only recently went defunct. I kinda miss the chatroom here. & i aint alone in that lamentation.
All I can say is, I've been here so long, off and on, that I try not to think about it too much. Without memories, thinking is impossible, and I tried drowning my memories in alcohol, but I always forgot what I was trying to forget, and ended up back here again! So, I ended up smoking pot instead, that way I can at least destroy my short term memory.
