Well I know this is very annoying but I cant really go into detail, sorry. Just wondered if anyone had seen someone have a seizure or fit from smoking too much?
i knew a girl that would have like serious twitch action when she smoked.. sometimes i guess it would seem seizure-ish... she'd like twitch out a couple times then be fine.. i remember she smacked herself in the face once..
i used to have this friend a few years back that was a big smoker and he told me once he basically stayed awake several days or something and he was smoking a joint riding in a car and basically passed out and was shaking and shit and his bro said he had a seizure. maybe it is true...
i've never heard of anyone having a seizure from smoking. people have probably had some serious twitching going on, but probably never a full-blown seizure.
I'm double yours and have never run across anyone having seizures from the herb.. sure it's been straight herb and not laced with anything?
from my experiences and the girl i knew.. it had nothing to do with anything being out of the norm.. cuz it would be my weed.. or her weed.. it would happen.. i always told this girl to sit if she was smokin in my apartment cuz i have huge picture windows and didnt want her goin through one of them
I'm pretty sure TNS has said several times that he had a seizure from smoking too much. Now I'm sure it is more than likely that he was swimming in a Xanax pool before he smoked and he may have taken in too much Xanax.
from the wiki: An epileptic seizure is a transient symptom of abnormal, excessive or synchronous neuronal activity in the brain.[1] It can manifest as an alteration in mental state, tonic or clonic movements, convulsions, and various other psychic symptoms (such as déjà vu or jamais vu). The medical syndrome of recurrent, unprovoked seizures is termed epilepsy, but seizures can occur in people who do not have epilepsy. intoxication with drugs drug toxicity, for example aminophylline or local anaesthetics normal doses of certain drugs that lower the seizure threshold, such as tricyclic antidepressants infection, such as encephalitis or meningitis fever leading to febrile convulsions (but see above) metabolic disturbances, such as hypoglycaemia, hyponatremia or hypoxia withdrawal from drugs (anticonvulsants and sedatives such as alcohol, barbiturates, and benzodiazepines) certain light patterns, such as those found in video games or other media. Mild seizures can be induced through a combination of quickly standing, hyperventilation and applying pressure to the sternum. (hypoxia, by the way, is oxygen deprivation, common when smoking) i have never seen anyone have a seizure from smoking, not that i think age has anything to do with experience. i had a friend in boot camp who had seizures, i would wake up just before them, go to the head, and then wait by her rack so i could help her get her medications. first you have to know that it was a seizure. whether or not there are preexisting conditions, medications (antibiotics gone awry or something) or some other trigger. humans are complex. i am not allergic to anything, but i have known 2 people allergic to weed, 1 allergic to peanut butter (so much so that a bully in school was in trouble basically for attempted murder for smashing a peanut butter sandwich in his face. ) and one allergic to chocolate. my hubby is allergic to everything ending in '-cillin' and we suspect cold medicines as well. we are all different, and we all react to drugs, medications, and any other thing we come in contact with differently. if a person is having seizures, though, whatever the cause, they should certainly see a doctor.
I've never heard of a seizure from smoking too much. Same with people saying they puked on pot, makes no sense since it cures nausea.
I dont think weed could cause this. Maybe an existing condition, as people said. One of my old girl friends would have seizures if she didnt take xanax. but who the fuck knows what that was about
I've seen a friend of mine puke from smoking too much. But there's a decent chance it's medication causing some reaction.
