I love it, looks very dated when you watch it now though Surprised Michael Richards never went anywhere after the show, he was a classic
Not a show I could ever really get into. I did not mind watching it in a random way but I would not have been waiting for the next episode. Not even sure why other than it bored me.
I just started watching it again recently. I had forgotten how funny it is. I saw an episode that I hadn'tseen before, the one where kramer tries to sleep for only like 3 hours a day and ends up falling asleep on some lady and she thinks he's dead so she calls her friends to come and pick him up. They put him in a bag and toss him into the hudson river lmao and he wakes up in the water screaming
I liked it. I haven't seen it in a long time due to no cable, though. I don't think it's on netflix, but now I am going to have to check.
I'm not even sure if I've ever seen an entire episode or not. Don't really know it well enough to base an opinion.
Always couldn't really care less about it but last year I saw a lot of episodes on tv and got into it. I think it's not bad at all. Point is all these sitcoms have a lot of the same jokes and situations so in the end it's often the specific setting of a sitcom or the actors that make it. Unfortunately I rather watch a show that is made by some original jokes. I now think Seinfeld is definately one of the better ones in the genre though.
This is how I feel about it, too. Individually, none of them are very funny, but together by situational humor they were legendary. I don't dislike any of them but always liked George the most. The episode in which George showed up to work while the boss who interviewed him was away and did nothing was my favorite. The Penske file, and "ta-ta, Tu-ttle" was the greatest line of all time.
It's the only sitcom I can watch, no matter how many times I've seen it. I can't appreciate any of the new ones. George is the best! He's so self-aware and still the most horrible human being. I love him. Kramer is 2nd best. I love George's parents too.
Of the newer sitcoms I like the Big bang theory. With this one it was the same: I couldn't really be bothered by it until I finally felt like checking one or two episodes out and I got into it.
I watched it too, but it became boring after few seasons. Just like that horrible TV show How I Met Your Stupid Mother.
"..I'm not sure how you pronounce or it anything but, I believe it's.. ménage à trois?" "WHAT?!" "Hi.." "Scott! Remember what we talked about the other day? George is INTO IT!"
