let me start off by saying I don't think that pro basketball is more then a way to sell sneakers and gatorade. Neither is an important part of society. Pro basket ball is also not sacred. I read the entire phone tape between Sterling and Stiviano and it is a conversation between a boyfriend and a girlfriend. Sterling seems like he is concerned how his girlfriend is stereotyped by the faction of society in which he resides in. Stiviano is not an "uncle tom" and associates with people that are african/malotto americans like herself. If Stiviano is not seen with black people somehow she is not black and Sterling's girlfriend is hence not black either. Sterling uses race lines to determine if you are an undesirable or not and does not see African americans as individuals as he does people of european descent. So the easy part is done. Sterling believed he was having a private conversation with Stiviano and was not on the clock as a spokesperson for the NBA or the Clippers. It was a boyfriend/girlfriend discussion. Unless we are Sterlings girlfriend and want to be on Instagram with African Americans/Mulattos it is not really any of our business. If the fans (fanatics) and sponsors wish to act and make owning the clipper unpractical of Sterling ,that is how capitalism works. Not yourself, but asking that your girlfriend not pose with blacks? Why is the NBA the crusader for allowing your Mulatto girlfriend to pose with blacks on Instagram if you are Sterlings girlfriend? Now I'm not Sterlings girlfriend so this nonsense has nothing to do with me. Sterling should have the right to be on Instagram with whomever or not with whomever he likes but the issue is not about who Sterling poses with. There is not a direction connection to Sterlings actual behavior but that of which he wished to impose on his girlfriend. So I ask if this indirect behavior of Sterling is so horrible what harm has been done? If you are a black or a mulotto you may not be able to be on Instagram with Stiviano? This is not a very important right that you are being robbed from.
I don't care if my GF poses with black men. or black women. Dressed or naked (so long as certain parts stay away from other certain parts). Hell, I'll even pose naked with a black man or woman if I feel like it. As for Sterling, that's his GF. If he objects to her being around certain people that is his right. If she objects, then that's her right as well. Let them have their own little lovers quarrel without involving the rest of us.
I honestly think the solution to the situation is if Sterling offended you ,just go up to him in person and tell him to go fuck himself.
