I'd like to clarify something before I even start. I'm not a hippie, I don't smoke weed, I don't wear tie-dye, and I don't believe in astrology or yoga. Yet... I've had such odd things occur that it makes me wonder. On numerous occasions I have had dreams come true, the next day, in excrutiating detail. My most recent one, which is why I am posting this, is pretty basic. I had a dream I was sitting at my desk and I found a Metalic/Blue paper clip- I like to collect the colored ones, so I was excited. I woke up thinking, "if only I had one that colored!" Well, that day at work (yesterday now), I was going through some files, and there it was. I found it the same way I had in my dream. I don't have any this color and have never seen one this color, and there it was. I sat there for five minutes, feeling rather shakey and excited. I tired for hours to figure out what it might mean. The symbolism or the point. But maybe the fact it happened was really the point? I don't believe is pyschics or mediums or anything of the sort, but, how can I logically explain this? I can't, to be honest. Can anyone offer an explanation? This has happened mutiple times and if it weren't so precise and dead on, I would ignore it...
Hi Emrys ... I thought some things in life are here to be experienced rather than to be explained. Believe into your own self, and go with the heart. All the rest is not that important. You have your own answers inside you. They are just not pre-fabricate. Who are you ? What is life ? I think you are tapping into a wonderful place inside yourself. It's like you take a look beyond the border, to see the mystery of life open to you. How far will you reach out ? Just don't let the wow-effect distract you. And thank you for sharing
You have now learned that there are things which cannot be logically explained, like your being able to see future events. Just accept it. What it does show is that you possess some psychic ability. Now that you have this new found awareness, what shall you do with it? You will now see life presenting you with choices and you can decide to allow what you dreamdt to become a reality or you can choose to not do what the dream showed and hope for a better outcome. Sometimes knowing the future is a bitch. There may be times when you know what is coming but you are powerless to affect change. There could be times when you see depression coming, so you have to steel yourself knowing that it will eventually pass. Don't let it get you down, it is a gift which should be nutured and appreciated.
Thank you both for your responses! I am vary wary to believe it is anything other than my brain confusing events, but... Another part of me knows that it isn't that. I have decided to keep a dream journal to write down my dreams in once I wake up. I will then see when/if they come true or what they might mean. I've also decided before I go to sleep to tell myself that I am going to see something from the future while I dream- just to see if it effects anything at all. The mind is an amazing thing... and this seems to be happening more and more to me... I imagine that if this really is an ability that I may nurture and grow with, it will bring new problems into my life as well, some I may not be ready for. Thus I will simply start with this dream journal to decide where it might be going and if I want to pursue it. Thank you for your thoughts. =) I'll stop by to let you know how it goes!
i'd say it's just a thing that happens. i don't mean coincidence. it's something we all have a touch of. it just isn't usualy very useful. but it's totaly cool to hear about good things getting fulfilled like that. maybe i shouldn't even be saying not to take it as numinous. maybe it's ment to be. but more likely, it's just that one day precog is something you've got. well if it seems to be consistently always the very next day, well i don't know, maybe it's just something's way of saying hi. some kind of friend or something. i don't mean someone you're going to see tangably walking into your life or anything, just some kind of spirit friend or something. or maybe someone else just having a little bit of harmless fun. =^^= .../\...
Mine usually didn't happen right away, but between a week and several years later for one. I have only had maybe ten my whole life, but same as you, I'd ignore it if they weren't so exact. I had to rethink my concept of time eventually in order to explain how they could happen.
The wise consider this, maybe your whole life is already exactly to the detail a piece of reality, a happening that is laid out in the annals of the stars, like a movie in the library of the cosmos....and you simply get to preview it once in a while.
