Does anyone use secondary progressions. I use them; along with transits, to predict the future, but I don't have a feel for the strength of progressions, I would like to know if there is a book anyone would recommend. I use software to calculate my charts, it makes it much easier. My computer has made making charts a breaze.
On an aside note, I recommend Matrix Win*Star software for anyone who is serious about astrology. And read a lot of books, your local book store should have a section just for astrology books, or check the library.

Well in my opinion the greatest astrologer was CEO Carter, and his mentor Alan Leo. All professional astrologers are familiar with Carter's Astrological Aspects, still the best book ever written (and I've read 'em all) on the aspects!

You should perhaps study the history of modern astrology as it came out of the Theosopical Society established in 1888 in England by Blavatsky and Besant ...
If you study in any depth you will learn what people talk about as if they know ... the Western concepts of Karma (as opposed to the REAL concept), Western concepts of reincarnation (as opposed to the REAL concept).

It requires high intelligence and considerable study ... and at the end you my find the secret to life :)
