I'm pretty sure quorn is not vegan, merely vegetarian.... Although having just looked it up, apparently they do have one vegan product, the 'Quorn Vegan Burger' I'm not sure how easy it is to get Quorn in the US either, it being mainly popular in the UK and Europe. Edit: I assumed OP was in the US....but maybe not?
Quite a few things, but the thing that cinched it was reading Diet for a New America by John Robbins. (I'm guessing you know the book but here's the link anyway): http://www.amazon.com/Diet-New-America-John-Robbins/dp/0915811812/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1339117415&sr=8-1"]Amazon.com: Diet for a New America (9780915811816): John Robbins: Books To look and feel like I'm 21 again. Failing that, to get as close as I can. I don't really cook, but for lunch the last cpl days I've had sprouted grain cinnamon/raisin english muffins with almond butter.:chef: Very tasty.

Own the book, captain! He's got another about feeling good at 100. Are you going full lifestyle? Check out recipes in munchies. Ther is a 100 percent vegan section. Note, I don't go in much to check if they're appropriately filed.
hmmmm... not sure what you mean, drumminmama. One of my objectives for this year is to get as healthy as possible, and this is part of that. Thanks, I'll check that out.
Vegan lifestyle as in making sure your clothes, hobby gear, furniture, etc. are animal product and byproduct free.
Ah. In that case, probably not. Aside from food and things like toothpaste/shampoo/etc., everything I buy---clothes, hobby stuff, (and I make my own furniture)---comes from thrift stores and garage sales so I figure if something I buy wasn't manufactured 100% ethically, at least it's recycled. As far as things like shampoo, I'm not really in a position to spend $3 on a bottle when I can get a bottle of VO5 for a buck.
I have not tasted any of the quorn variety so I would not know where are you from? I am new to being vegan and am an animal lover and would like someone to talk to about this all.. I am not sure how to add friends on here! :sunny:
I think you have to have so many posts before you can add friends, keep posting am happy to chat though, I'm from the UK.
