Anyone ever try any seaweed snacks? I'm sitting here eating Annie Chun's roasted seaweed snacks (sesame flavor). Dan works for a company that distributes natural, organic and health foods to various large and small grocery stores. And they have an employee co-op program (which is just basically an employee discount, but it's off of the price that the stores get the foods so health foods are very cheap and I order a lot)...anyways... This stuff.. lol... I don't think it's very good.. But I eat it every day anyways because seaweed has all the minerals that there are in it but apparently there are people who actually like this stuff? I suck it down like it's a supplement.
I eat seaweed snacks almost daily. I am pretty partial to the Wasabi ones. Also, here is some nerd information: Seaweed is not a plant although most people think that it is
lol. at the place dan works people open the food and hide it and eat it..anyways they sell big bags of things often without pics and they sell dog treats ...there's a lot of Hispanic ppl there who don't speak any English and dan and their supervisor found these guys who don't speak English had opened up the dog treats and were eating em not knowing they were dog food. anyways can't taste too much worse then the seaweed snacks.
i tried because my 3 grandkids concider them treats..... i wasnt impressed...they taste like you think seaweed tastes but the kids love them...they also eat plain rice cakes which also i do not like
I wanna try the wasabi ones next time!! I saw they have them and maybe I would like them better than the sesame ones? I mean they are super healthy and I really wish I liked them... and isn't seaweed called a sea vegetable??? lol.
They do photosynthesize, but they still aren't plants. Green seaweed is an ancestor of plants though... but not brown or red seaweeds. Anyway, I love the sesame ones as well so I am clearly not to be trusted
