Hi everyone, new here, was looking up the music situation in seattle and stumbled across this site. I'm leaving my beautiful state of Minnesota in January to live in the Seattle WA area for a year. Exciting as it will be to try something new, I'm sad to leave my friends and the awesome music scene Minneapolis/St. Paul has to offer and which I've been a very active member of for some time. Anyone here from Seattle have some suggestions on some good bands and fun places to hang out? I'm love the local live stuff, bluegrass(newgrass, jamgrass, any grass!), jambands, folk, most anything, I love dancin too.
