Fall is pretty, with the changing of the leaves, and the weather can be quite pleasant for a while, a nice break from the summer heat. And there's garden harvesting. But it signals the end of the riding and growing season. The leaves need to be cleared from the buildings and paths. It foreshadows frozen tundra, snow shoveling, shivering, numbness, schlepping firewood, mostly indoor activities, and limited mobility, and the reduction of natural vitamin D production. The landscape looks bare and lifeless for a while. Too long. Then finally spring. Spring brings life and joy!
Not posted in a while and season looks pretty much over. Sill post some pics form various runs over the years.
