wtf... ques is.. "if a person if truly schizophrenic, should they get medicine for it?"

 

If they pose a danger to themselves or others I'd have to say "yes".

 

Well sweetie, they not only should take medication, they should also kindly drown themselves.

 

Before some people come along and say that its caused by toxins and they just need more echinacea in their diet...

schizophrenia is a serious neurological disorder and it can be helped with medication.

 

like I said before, medication is not the cure for everything.

im sure even MATT would agree that if they seriously have it.. they should be medicated.

 

In this country we may have a tendency to over medicate but, that doesn't mean that medicine doesn't have its place.

schizophrenia can be treated orthomolecularly with much success.

 

I think its kinda new agey... the theory is, that most illness are caused by a lack of essential nutrients, and can be healed with things like vitamin E.

I don't really have anything aginst the theory, theres nothing wrong with getting plenty of vitamins, but I'm not sure how effective it is in treating a complex neurological disorder such as schizophrenia.
