A kid who's life basically revolves around rock music and who follows the rock trends usually imspired by Hardcore/Punk/Emo/ etc etc.They love to take photos from wierd angles that are later posted on myspace or purevolume.They hang around in packs or will usually be nice to anyone they find interesting other wise they won't give you the time of day.They love to go to shows where they perform dances such as:
skank
twostep
tranverse two step
windmill
roundhouse kick
mosh
They are known to use a lot of popular internet slang such as:

ATTN

Boys:
Long dark hair that is covering face or brushed all to one side(usually streaked or undertoned an unatural color)
Bandanas around the neck
Eyeliner (optional)
Girl pants or tight pants
BAND MERCH
Band hoodies (Ususally black)
Tight t-shirts with interesting designs on the front (Usually band shirts, hollister, atticus, adeline, clandestine, etc.)
Lip rings
Bulky White belts
Large belt buckles
Spiked Belts
Converse or Vans
Girls:
Long dark hair that is brushed to one side or covering face (Usually streaked)
Bows in hair
Poka dots
A lot of make up (Usually heavy eyeliner)
Band Merch
Band hoodies (Usually Black)
Converse or Vans
Tight t-shirts with interesting designs on the front (Usually band shirts, hollister, atticus, adeline, clandestine, etc.)
Spiked Belts
Bulky White Belts
Lip rings, eye brow rings, nose rings and anywhere else they can pierce themselves.

I think what's important is that we encourage a return to traditional, moral values, and less materialism in the youth of today.

Indie scene dudes who are totally elite are so hard to get to know while they bash Vampire Weekend and discuss Built to Spill pre major label.

Even though I want to tell em' I know an underground Indie band, totally unknown. They don't care. They only care about that bands that they know that no one else does.

True, but this exact example you gave I frequently encounter among hippies as well.

 

Yah, it was a poor example. I didn't mean to say that behavior in itself is a scene. But yah, Scenes made of Indie kids and hippies are two groups that tend to exhibit that the most from my experience.

I suppose I could have been more clear.
