I'm new to this forum I decided to join because I had a really freaky experience last night and have to get it off my chest. I have also been reading Carlos Castaneda’s book 'the art of dreaming' which I love but is making me paranoid about inorganic beings messing with me. Ok now I sound crazy. Bear with me please I have had many strange lucid dreams that have been really fun and fantastical like being in space or on a different world. I've also suffered from sleep paralysis with the whole crushing sensation and evil presence. My god it horrible, I feel for anyone else who has gone through it! I've heard someone tell me to wake up right next to me and heard beautiful piano music in my ears. Just so you know I am completely healthy! These sounds were very clear and I have only heard that people who have gone deaf have similar experiences? Anyway, about my dream last night, it had been mundane stuff until I was in a very busy corridor in some unknown building. I had been holding my boyfriends hand. I lost it and the crowd was pushing me. I got so pissed off with them that I realised I was dreaming so that I could push them all back. Suddenly I was in a small room where there were a few people my age sitting down in a circle. I joined them. To my right was a guy who reminded me a lot of one of my friends from college. He was lying on top of a raised cupboard thing. He changed into a blue electric fuzzy worm thing and then back again. He told me to get up where he was. Knowing I was dreaming and that I could control it I decided to levitate up to where he was. Next thing I know he's floating above me and getting closer. It was unbelievably sexual which immediately made me think of my boyfriend and want him off me. I could feel the heat of our combined breaths on my chest. It was just so lucid! I thought I was just feeling my actual breath from my sleeping body. I felt threatened and scared. I decided to wake up and put on the light. I didn’t manage to get the light and saw my mirror. Then I got the images of a TV show about r'n'b dancing. The light was suddenly on. I was completely exhausted. I then noticed that there was something else in my bed! My heart sank. My right leg rose into the air and it was crossed with another that was not mine. I grabbed the other leg. It came off and had dark skin and disappeared. Terrified I saw him again coming up from under my sheets. I only saw half his face and his eyes. It must be me I thought while I was confused. He told me 'no it's not. So who is it?' My cat came into my room and layed with me for a while. I felt a lot better. I was kind of scared to go to sleep for fear of more scary lucid dreams but they were fine and I felt so happy!
