i'm buying half an ounce tomorrow and i really want to get a scale cause i dont want to get ripped off, but im also selling some of it and i want to be able to weigh everything out correctly. i went to the closest headshop (20 minute drive) to my house but all they had were digital scales that started at $100. i dont care if i get the cheapest scale possible, as long as it works well enough to measure out half an ounce pretty decently then thats fine with me. i asked my friend whos helping me get the half and he was like "dont worry you wont get cheated" but i just want to be sure, cause i bought from this same dealer before (an 8th) and it looked like this: (its a little short because i smoked a bowl with some people, but just one so it shouldnt be that short) and some people on here said it was a little short... he just picked it out of the bag and put it into a smaller bag without measuring anything and i didnt have a scale. since headshops around here dont have them, is there any other place i could get a portable digital scale for like $30 or so? im getting the half tomorrow so i dont have much time, it needs to be somewhere relatively close (so like a really abundant store) and i dont know if i'll have a car or not which could be another problem. i dont even care if its one of those little keychain ones (if thats all i can get then i'll skip weighing out the half and at least weigh out the individual grams when im selling it) but i have no idea where i would find something like that.
try to find a postal scale. they're like $5 tops and will work good enough if you're buying a half ounce.

hmm, there are like 4 gas stations walking distance from my house, i'll check them out. anywhere else? if i cant find one there
not that i know of... the gas station is probably your best bet. i got mine at a "delta"... we live somewhat close (me being near allentown and you being near philly) so maybe you have one of those there?
The one day I was buying weed off of a mutual friend of me and my brother and he pulled out one of those scales, and weighing my weed out for me and I was laughing SO hard thinking it was a joke, but he really uses it to weigh out weed haha

maybe, i cant recall ever seeing one but i just bought gas for the second time in my life and ive been driving for 2 years haha so i wouldnt know many gas stations anyway. there are 2 around the corner from my house, lukoil and sunoco
It sounds like she only needs the scale for one time use. Under the circumstances, its not a bad thing to consider since it's a fraction of the price of any digital scale. When weighing large amounts they really aren't that inaccurate if you use it right...
well i'd probably use it more than once, but i especially need it for tomorrow. like if i got a shitty one and it broke after the first use i wouldnt care cause im not going to be buying again for a while. would i be able to find them at a hardware store?
Idunno. could try? the only place i know of for sure that has them is the headshop. maybe a post office? i doubt they sell them though. jack one
As long as you know its a legit 14g sack, don't worry about it. Just break it up into 4 equal looking sacks of weed and you got yourself some 8th sacks.
the problem is is that the people she gets it from are super shady... did you not see the pic of that "8th" that she posted in the original post? it's safe to say that she NEEDS this scale :S
