saying i love you~

do you feel weird about saying i love you to friends?

i don't, but i think i weirded out one of my friends by saying it to him...

i think more people should spread the love

No, I don't feel weird about it at all, I think there's different kinds of love, and I love alot of people in different ways. And I like to spread the love anytime I can.

 

i dont even say it to my parents so it would be pretty weird for me to say it to a friend

Ive just really grown apart from them (probably because of the drugs and depression etc) and it makes me really uncomfortable. But with my dad its the same way, I cant even remember him ever kissing, hugging, or saying it to me ever.

i say it more to my friends because i feel closer to them, they are my family

When he's dying, or when he's hammered. Or if he's gay, I guess.

I hate it when people are constantly saying, "Love ya!" or, "I love you sooo much!"

Especially when it's just an acquaintance. Or when they end every Myspace comment with it, even if they just wrote you one two seconds ago with it tagged to the bottom.

It cheapens it, and is completely fake.

Now, I tell my family I love them, and my best friend, and my kitties, but that's it. I refuse to tell anyone who I don't care deeply that I love them.

Also, whenever I read the threads that say, "I love you all!!" I feel sickened.

But that's my problem.

 

Usually if someone says I love you, I say "I love me too" or "I don't blame you".

Depends on my mood though.

i'm feeling very loving right now, and i was just posing an honest question about how people felt about saying it

i think right now, i wish some people weren't so up tight about love and showing affection
