He thought I was doing really good he said I don’t even look like I’m sick see him back in a year he said I am not retaining Carbon monoxide poisoning anymore that’s because of my BiPAP machine still use my lungs are still collapsed they will always be my lung function is at 20% so it was a good visit
Hey, that's wonderful news Jenny darlin'. Like you, I too have a serious lung problem - got burned with Liquid Petroleum Gas many, many years ago, now have Emphysema and Pulmonary Fibrosis, so lung function is not that good, but not giving in to it !!!
Ohh no i have chronic respiratory failure from my sever scoliosis I’m on oxygen 24/7 are you on oxygen? How many litters? What’s your lung function?
I was on oxygen when I went out, but those cylinders are heavy and only last 3 hours, so the nurses took them off of me again. My lung problems are just one of a number of diseases I now suffer, but as I said yesterday Jen darlin' I have no intention of giving up and will fight to the bitter end !!!
They've been experimenting with a stint, maybe six inches long, they stick in your leg, that works as a sort of wimpy lung that supplements the oxygen in your blood. That's just an early attempt around the problem, but they've even figured out how to print you entirely new lungs on a 3D printer and grow your own lung tissue on them. At this point, its mostly just the banks deciding how much to charge for insurance that's slowing everything down. Hang in there! People assume they know everything about the physics and chemistry and all that, but nothing could further from the truth. We are facing what they're calling the fourth technological revolution, so be prepared for miracles.
Wow I wish I had your positive out look I’m not giving up I just struggle with this life change so many things I wanted too do
They said I had collapse lungs since I was little and they will never heal my scoliosis over the year squeezed all my organs together
Jen darlin' - I've known people who had scoliosis too, and a couple of them had surgery to insert a metal rod screwed to their spine in an attempt to try to straighten it, every few months they went back to hospital and the surgeons would tighten the screws a little more to straighten out the spine.
I pray by some miracle you get better, Jennifer. I'm sorry you have to live this way, but at least you're still alive!
