So i got a san pedro... I wanna put some of him in a new pot, i read that it grows best in large grained sand. i'm assuming that's different than sandbox sand... anyone know where to get this "large grained sand" or should i head down to the narsty river? thank youuu!!

Go to an independent nursery that sells some cactus. Get their cactus potting soil (it's not just sand). Unless you live in a warm place, winter months are more or less dormant times for most cactus, so not a good time for transplanting or for starting cuttings.
