I have never been there but met a few people who have been to harvest parties there. I think they are an egalitarian community, and I heard they live mostly off of agriculture. But that’s about all I have heard about them.
I've heard a lot about it (though I've never actually been there). They supposedly grow about 80% of their own food (including most- if not all- of their own grain). They're pretty small (only about five people, I think) and make all of their decisions by consensus. They're located pretty close to two other relatively small communes (Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage and Red Earth Farms), but other than that they're pretty isolated (they live in a pretty sparsely populated area). There's more information about them at their website (which can be found at http://www.sandhillfarm.org/).
