1. The Hipforums announces it first ever fundraiser. After nearly 30 years online, we must ask our members and guests to help support the website. Thanks to years of ongoing financial support of our members, advertisers and volunteer admin staff, we have been able to keep the forums alive.

Now we must ask for help as available funds have all been used for our Internet server and other fees.

So please donate any amount to our PayPal account donate@Hipforum.com to keep the site going. If we can get enough for a few months fees, we won't need to nag you again!

I watched this movie the other day for the first time, and I've gotta say it's one of the best movies I've ever seen. It is one of Oliver Stone's first movies and he did a great job bringing this amazing story to the big screen.

I've also gotta give big props to James Woods' performance as the lead character, Richard Boyle. It's one of the best performances I've seen in my life.

Also, did anyone else watching catch that the network news station that yuppie chick was reporting for was called ANS News? If you don't get the joke say ANS News out loud ;)

It's not bad at all, James Woods is an interesting actor who plays a wide range of characters. "Salvator", is a decent social critical drama.
