In '69 pre Rainbow there was a Rainbow style wilderness commune on Salmon Creek in Big Sur that had been there a number of years. I spent a good bit of time there and was there the day the Smokies forced us to move up the coast to Venciente Creek. The only names that come to mind right now are Patches, Kangaroo, and Jimmie. Jimmie had the only communal house in Coronada. Anyone else ever been there?
