today, i was driving around with my mom and my friend. we were driving along this road, and on either side of us there were these beautiful flowery feilds. as i was sitting there, i remembered that it used to be all feilds out there, all of it was open land. we kept driving, and i saw all of these new developments that are being built. this just makes me so sad. it used to be so pretty out where i live. and now everyone has just completely fucked it up. nobody cares anymore! am i the only one? this makes me so sad.....unfortunatley i think this is happening everywhere, not just where i live. ugh.
yes, it is happening everywhere. All of my neighbors are excited about the new construction because it raises property value. Ten years from now everyone will be looking back and saying "look at all this crap." love, al the pal
Don't worry. Most of those people will pack up and move to Oregon once they get tired of it...then we get to deal with the sickness.
I think it's very sad that no one, even can't enjoy of a flower. of the morningdust on a green field. Even not the sun who's shining nicely. no they all buy some big airco and use allot of energy. While they can sit in a field, close by the water, and just enjoying.
its happening here too...the country is getting smaller and the town is growing larger. Its really depressing. I used to be the edge of town now the town seems to be growing and were a couple more miles off from the countryside...if you can call it that anymore!
i live out in the country soon to be gone and they are building a neighboorhood rite across from our land.. at least we have four acres of trees hehe peace chickens
i have a cabin that used to have a huge field full of wild flowers and wheat behind it, but now more houses are being built along the road and there's a huge mansion that blocks my view of the hills right in the middle of the field it makes me want to cry sometimes.. but just think that maybe one day the human race will be extinct and mother nature can go into a healing process and kinda digest all of our crap into her soil but she'll be able to handle it and bring back her beauty
I went on a drive last evening to a beautiful area south of Gresham Oregon, and the same thing is hapenning there. Actually it is all becoming nursery land which can be kinda pretty, but the trees and forest are disapearing. We are now a suburb of Portland. The roads out hear are severly jammed up with traffic because they are small and overcrowded. It is a beautiful area but wont be for long, so you cant really get away from it.
god, cry me a fucking river. you were just SOOO SAD it was unbearable? the house you all live in was built on the same kind of fields, get over it. yes, its a problem but i think we're all being a little over dramatic here.
