What exactly are STDs. Are they in some way connected to having HIV/AIDS?? What I'm asking is; When you have some sort of STD, does it mean you have HIV??? I just need clarity. TX!!:&
HIV is a Sexually Transmitted Disease. It is far from the only STD (also sometimes referred to as STI, or sexually transmitted infection). It may mean you have only HIV, it may mean you have only gonorrhea, it may mean you have only clamydia, it may mean you have only herpes, it may mean you have any combination of any of these or many other STDs. So, no, it does not necessarily mean that you have HIV, but it could mean that.
