I was just wondering if anyone was into this type of music, or if anyone played this type. It gets lonely being the only Rush fan at your school

my musical taste has changed a lot over the years and bands did come and go but i've always been a Rush fan.

i'm also very excited that i will finally get to see them live in october...it has been 12 years since they visited Holland

I love Subdivisions, I once listened to it like 50 times in a row[IMG], I get like that though..obsessed over a song. I also like Time Stand Still, it makes me nostalgic.
A lot of my friends in college are Rush fans, they always seem like cool people.

I love Rush -- they're all very talented, and aren't going to stifle showing it just to sell records. This is the case with progressive music, and on many other music forums, progressive bands are labeled as 'pretentious'.

King Crimson, Yes, ELP, Porcupine Tree, Spock's Beard, Dream Theater, and Jethro Tull are my favorite bands that are labeled 'Progressive'.

I know some people who like mainstream prog rock an dnon mainstream prog rock. i just dont see how when you hear something so much better, you can still listen to the other stuff. I used to like yes and elp too but for a very short time.
