I hate customers that are so freaken rude!! Almost every time I work I have to deal with rude customers. They always yell at me for shit that isn't my fault like when we don't have a product they want or if someone in another department didn't help them. So annoying!!Just today i was on the top floor and some lady asked me where the lawn furniture is and i said down stairs, she told me that she saw a sign that said it was up here. I said no its downstairs and than she just goes on and on about how this store is stupid and finally says whatever!! and walks away. They fucking piss me off!! Anyone have any customer from hell stories?
I've wanted to beat the shit out of so many of them. I work in a kid of wealthy area and one tm=ime this lady was buying some clothes but wasn't done shopping i guess and is walking throguh one of the aisles and was like here hold my stuff my names cheryl ill come back and get them when im done, and throws all her clothes at me and walks off before i can say anything. ughh. i just threw all her shit on the floor and went somewhere else. I need to stop working with the public like you my man
i agree, a lot of them are retarded. lol especially the ones that think they're right when you know for a fact that they arent. and the ones that say "i.. a paying customer deserve.. blahblabhalbhl" or the ones that flip out on you cause u were like "sorry?" a couple times either because they didnt speak loud enough or they hav an accent thats really hard to understand.. and they storm off and everybody looks at you like u did something wrong.. pisses me off. lol ps been getting a lot of deja vus lately. lol
ughh yes i hate when they think theyre right. Don't you just wanna be like: hey asshole im the one that works here not you!!!! You dont know shit!!! oh how i wish we could be rude back
There are some people that when they walk into a store, they like become retarded and cannot look for nor find ANYTHING without special personal assistance. GOD HAVE MERCY!!! I have wanted to pinch their heads off and ask them how in the hell did they manage to get up and dress themselves and (gasp!) DRIVE here??? When clearly they are too dumb to even be able to LOOK for anything for themselves! I worked in a sod, feed and seed place for about a year one time that also had high-end yard/garden accessories and supplies. You would not believe the women AND men that asked me to come and carry a 30 to 40 lb. bag of dirt or seed! I was barely tipping the scale at 120 then, too. These would be very healthy and wealthy people that needed me to kow-tow to them... I loved that job tho'. But really customers are the very, very worse in restaurants. The only place/environment it seems I am destined to find find work. yay for fate. I am of the frame of mind that a store or restaurant should have RULES that customers should have to abide by...1st on the list being - THEY ARE NOT NOT NOT ALWAYS RIGHT. :bobby:
my mom works at walmart. so you can image all the nasty people she has to deal with their. she has come home so upset before. people suck
My wife works as a cashier at a Meijer department store, a good sized chain based here in Michigan, USA. We get hours of amusement from the stories she has at the end of the day. My oldest daughter and my mother-in-law work there as well. My MIL works at the service desk and a customer was returning a carpet cleaning machine. My MIL looked at it, had not been cleaned out, so she told the lady it would be a $15 charge for not cleaning it out, standard rule. So that pissed the customer off. So my MIL asked if she had the pink return slip, and of course she didn't. So my MIL opened the book where the machines were rented out and went to the bottom of the list and read the name there, asked if that was her name. The customer replied "No that's not my name!" in a bitchy loud voice and my MIL replied "Well how am I supposed to know, it's not like your name is tattooed on your forehead!" She was afraid she would get written up for that one, but never heard a peep about it except from the other employees who all gave her a pat on the back.
"the customer is always right" was killed years ago by idiot customers and scammers. a more accurate version would be "it's easier to just give the idiot free stuff for no reason so you can get on with your life as opposed to being screamed at for 15 minutes while you have urgent work to do." this thread so far has forgotten the worst kind of customer interaction: over the phone. people have giant balls when you aren't face to face with them.
i must confess...many times it is me that is chasteness some poor kid for something thats not his fault.,,,,besides,,,if you had of put the fucking sign in a better spot we wouldnt be wasting my time right now! would we?,,,nevermind...get me a manager please
Once I had a lady chase me behind the counter because our credit card machine was by the drive-thru window and not the front counter. Mind you, the whole altercation started when she first gave me a check, which I ran electronically, and then refused to sign a receipt for the electronic transaction because she had already signed a check (which I had given back to her, as it was electronic), then tore up the receipts and check and threw them at me. Then when she pulled out her credit card, it was the first day we had our new registers, so the credit card machines on them hadn't even been programmed yet, so we were using the old P.O.S. machine between drive and kitchen. This INFURIATED her and she chased me, calling me a thief and threatening to call the cops on me and the better business bureau. Good lord, it was a scene. And my damn boss was oblivious to all of this until I had convinced the lady to go back to the dining room and out of the employee area. Her response? "You're not supposed to be back there...." and then a free meal because she voided all the transactions.
once when i was working in a supermarket a lady asked where the butter was and i replied that it was behind her it was - she thought i was being rude after a telling off i told her she needed to open her eyes... :frown: the manager was called ultimately though he told me she a complete bitch that i shouldn't worry about it.
It's the arrogance of those who have money but no class that used to wind me up when I used to work behind the bar. Being nice with smiling face was always difficult, but getting my own back, always a pleasure
I hate when they have money but are still so fucking cheap. Some lady wasn't gonna buy something because it rang up as 11 dollars when it said 10 dollars on the sign. Are you kidding me? its one fucking dollar. So she started bitching about it and didn't but it. What a cheap ass
