So what are the favourite games of the RTers? For me on computer, i like Civ4: beyond the sword and a big fan of the Rome: total war series, including both expansions. I still have an Xbox, one of my favourite games is "Hitman: Blood money" although i am a fan of the entire series, Blood money is by far the best. So RT, what are you favourite video games?
I am so over fifa, i've played that so many times just because every one else was. it is a fun two player game but god some people really love that series.
I don't play near as many games as I used to. The only game I own right now is Little Big Planet. I can't really think of another I would really care to have either. I like the GTA series a good bit, Metal Gear Solid, and random sports games. I'm generally too busy with other things to game, but if something interesting and new comes around, I always take notice...
I gave up video games a few years ago. Just can't get into them anymore. But I still peek around a bit every now and then. Theres a new resident evil coming out which looked sick. Resident Evil and Zelda. That's my motto. I sorta want to get Tekken and smash my roomate who plays video games all day. But again as I've said, I just can't find the impetus to play video games anymore.
They seem tired... Very few things spark my attention. Generally, a lot of hype, followed by the same retread.
I used to play the Quake series, Delta Force Series, and tha last one was Call of Duty 2, all multi-player.
That takes me back to when i use to play quake 2 and action quake (a quake 2 mod) muliplayer on dial up. i got really good a tracing...
The newer ones or the older ones, or both? i like older games to, last year i finished "wonder boy" and "alex kidd" on master system.
I've always enjoyed the trippyness of the series, of course growing up with sega myself i hadnt played them untill i was older, via emulation. Also enjoy how mushrooms play a huge part of the game. I was once told that the mario story was basically about two plumbers tripping on shrooms.
I love the Grand Theft Auto series, especially Vice City. I like all of the "classic" side scrolling Mario games, just not Mario Party and the like. I love every Zelda game ever made, and Goldeneye 007. As far as newer games, I like the new GTA, the new Resident Evil does look awesome, and There looks to be some cool stuff coming up on the PS3.
Vice city always annoyed me because the cops couldnt shoot for shit... the only zelda game i have played was "occarina(sp?) of time" but i never finished it, i got pretty far but not all the way.
Yeah, I agree about the cops. It's just that I got so immersed in the game that I was almost addicted. haha I knew that city inside and out, the only two games I've ever been that hooked on were Vice City and Ocarina of Time.
i havent really got a favourite game... been playing lots of those silly little time management and seek n find games lately... also fable 2 for the x360, and zelda for the ds. i enjoy teh sims games, but more as something to putter at while watching tv than to game at. used to love eve online, got bored of it... hellgate london i still putz at sometimes too
ahh yes that reminds me, Fable was a classic, i really loved that game and i dont usually get into RPG's that much. Of course i'd probably like Fable 2, but i dont have an Xbox360
