Roots

Hwy, Ive had my dreads for about 4 months, and they are acually starting to lock up, by my roots are just flat. Is there something i can do make them lock up or is just one of those you have to deal with, untill they do their own thing?

Take to pieces of hair and rub them apart, and repeat this a few times so you get little knots. Hope you know what i mean, because it's difficult to explain in english.

 

Put a dread between your first two fingers, by the root, and rub it against your head for a couple minutes.

 

i left mine but wearing awooly hat always spurs mine to lock up a bit when they feel a bit pooy.

 

I use the crochet method and it works amazingly.

 

however over crocheting can lead to them looking like knotty platts so carefull
