Do you mean the recent Baz Luhrman one? Because I LOVE that movie too!! I finally got some money (x-mas money) and went out and bought it so I don't have to rent it all the time anymore! GREAT movie. Baz is an awesome director. I mean, he's the guy that created Moulin Rouge!
the first time i saw this movie was when i was really young and i didnt have a clue what the hell anyone was saying, then i saw it again this year, and i thought it was very well filmed and all that, it was quite good.
yeah gotta love it.. gota love the futurisation as well.. like how guns are different kinds of swords etc.
kjhippielove88, that's the version I mean. I was just clarifying if it was the one from like the 60's or the one from the 90's.
I think it’s a fantastic movie! Baz Lhurman is the only director i know who can incorporate Shakespearean dialect as well as 14th Century concepts into a modern setting. It doesn't butcher Shakespears play at all! It merely tries to create, a modern version, whilst still keeping a strong essance of the original play. Of course with Claire Danes and DiCaprio leading... not much can go wrong.
this one´s really good! I loved it when it was at the movie theatres!! All the colours and this wonderful way of talking, just had to love it!!
This version of Romeo and Juliet was ok, but I love the one filmed in 68. Olivia Hussey, played juliet, very good movie.
Franco Zeffirelli's version (1968) is BY FAR superior to Luhrmann's version. Beautiful, beautiful film.
i like the original one. i think it's alot better than that new one with leonardo di caprio. damn, i even did a report on how i thought it was better. how do you people remember these people's names? do you look them up before you type it, or do you just have thst good of a memory?
