Great live album, contains FLoyd classics as well as solo material. He's an artist, he has a lot to say about the way the world ought to be, and how p[olice and politicians and pushers of conservative ethics are trying to run our lives. RIght on.

Ive seen Roger Waters 3times, going on 4.. The Pink Floyd Ive seen 3times. Each time I seen the Pink Floyd the show seems surprising similar .. Momentary Lapse /aka Delicate sounds carried some the Wall tunes and DSOTM. Pulse Tour was just about the same show 10yrs later. Also playing tunes from Delicate. Sorrows/ is not on the Pulse album. Remember Comfortably numb and Run like Hell are usually the chosen endings for Pink Floyd. As well as Wish you were Here. The concerts should be a collection of hits.

Rogers tours were ultimately not as full of the lighting effects the Floyd still has.
Although, Roger performed Animals, Radio Chaos, Pros and Cons, DSOTM, Amused to Death. And lets not forget the full production of the WALL.. Ive left Rogers shows feeling mind fucked. Where as Ive left Pink Floyd shows 1/2 blind due to over lighting.

Granted I love David Gilmour to death. And would probably kill someone to see his solo work with his band.

My dad saw Pink Floyd live in 1980 performing The Wall at Nassau Colosseum on Long Island.

I don't care much for Waters lately when he gets political, because he still seems to be stuck in the whole left/right paradigm. When he played Coachella back in 2008, he flew the infamous pig over the audience which read "Vote Democrat." If anything it should have said "fuck politicians" or "fuck the system." Or better yet, it should have said "DON'T VOTE."

Anyway, Waters is still one of my favorite songwriters, and he does seem to have some understanding of the truth when I listen to albums like Animals and The Wall. I am not too interested in seeing Waters these days, because you're paying more for the name than anything. Really it's just Waters singing with a slew of ultra-proficient professional musicians many people haven't even heard of backing him. It just seems too sleek and polished, much like Floyd's last two tours in the 80s and 90s.

Pink Floyd will always be one of my favorite all-time bands. Unfortunately, being overplayed on the radio has cheapened some of their best work.

Ive also seen Aussie Floyd 2 times.. PR when you mentioned the professional musicians. You can just get they feel of that when seeing Aussie Floyd. They are really good, very orchestrated and mastered. Toss in Rogers or Gilmours voice and yeah have it.

Bootleg Wall and Animals recordings are far superior to anything from the studio imo..

It is said that Water's ego is larger than mine. I doubt it.
