Haha! the director of the movie is from New Zealand. About 2 months ago they acknowledged him by reserecting(sp) a statue of Riff Raff in Hamilton (the city i live in).

Rocky Horror is probably the most twisted in a fun way movie I've ever seen. It's too great for words. I find myself oddly attracted to Dr. Frankenfurter (sp) even though he's in drag.

It is a great movie, very strange but there's nothing else like it. It would be an OK film without the songs, but the soundtrack just takes it to another level. I might go to the next production, its here quite often. I haven't got the body for corsettes, fishnets etc so I'll go as something boring I suppose hehe.

It makes me happy to see so many RHPS fans out there! Yay! My friend Val and I have been obsessed with it for years, and have even performed with a group in our hometown (although our audience wasn't quite as rowdy as others I've seen.) Here's a pretty groovy website for anyone who's interested in psycho-fanatic RHPS stuff:

    http://www.cosmosfactory.org

and if you've been there before, then you know all about it.

    :)

Fun movie: everybody owes themselves a trip to the local showing in a killer outfit.

    Don't forget the rice!

I am so upset that for years VH1 had airtime dedicated to this movie (in fact, they even hosted the anniversary special a few years ago). Then last year... nothing  For some reason, I have the soundtrack, but I don't have the movie on video/dvd. Cosmos factory is a great site!

In a way it is a companion movie to The Blues Brothers.
