ok so heres the deal. Im painting my brother a pic for x mas. Hes a drumer(as you can see). I hate painting faces that small. I dont have the right brush to do it. My sister in law says i dont need one. My fiance says I do. What do you think? And, any other tips would be appreciated
I like it as it is. I think that by not adding more to the face, you are keeping the focus on the drums. He would probably like the focus to be on the drums..I'm guessing. You could add a slight shadow to the face...just so you show direction of light...
personally I get disturbed if there is no mouth. a kind of cut off thought-based communication thing. If I were working on that (what's the size BTW?) I'd put in suggestions of features at this point.
