Wow. There are hippies in Rochester/Rochester Hills? I live in Utica on the boarder and the closest thing to a hippie I've ever seen are those that are just too stoned to be violent and angry, not by choice. I need to get out more.
How is OU? I'll most likely go there after getting some basic classes from a community. Its the only place I can even pretend to afford, but sadly it seems to be mostly expensive colleges that are highly active liberal (Not the faculty, the students). I'm kind of hoping for college to let me get away from the casualness of people around me and meet some activists. Does the school have any active environmental, anti-war, pro-freedom (Any of the common types. Speech, press, drugs, sexual preference, sexual "deviance"), or -sane- equal rights groups/clubs? Not necessarily "official" groups.

I went to high school in Clinton township, I joined this site for the same reason, like minded people. I usually take 16 to clinton township to see friends.
