    just figured I'd put this up on this day 35 years ago the plane carrying Lynyrd Skynyrd crashed killing Ronnie van zandt and Steve Gaines and Cassie Gaines.

    It was. The news kept comparing it to the crash that killed Buddy Holly, Ricthie Valens, and the Big Bopper.


    I spent hours staring at that Street Survivors album cover.

    I'm pretty sure one of the reasons they compared them so much besides the point that music legends were lost is that Jerry lee Lewis sold the planes to both Skynyrd and buddy holly
