All four of these Officers were murdered while doing their job this past week. Three of them happened pretty close to where I live. Sad news. I know there probably isn't a thread on here because most of you are against the "gooberment man" so i made one.

"Trenton Trevon Lovell, 27, of Lancaster was arrested in the killing." Well that's clearly a black persons name. Top story looked like a black person. Middle was a white man.
These particular officers are not responsible for all cops and it's sad they are dead. But I can't help but feel this a symptom of a larger problem in America. People don't trust the police. The cops have gotten a lot more of us then we have them. Cops will parade these few people around and hope it legitimizes everything else they do. They are now the victim even though often it's their own fear and inability to do the job they singed up that creates the problem. So I feel bad for these officers because it seems like they were good cops but they need to change their culture or this will continue to happen.
Yeah RIP, very sad. That their deaths may have some use in avoiding more. Both the original statement and the correction are spot on. But does the significance of the corrected statement validates 'the war on drugs' as it is (including all lifes ruined by this 'war', not directly by the drugs itself? NO.
The war on drugs is the cause of the problem, not the drugs themselves. Well, yes it's the drugs too. But the war on drugs results in the quality and availability of less harmful, and medicinal drugs, which people then substitute for more harmful ones that cause addiction, and serious health problem. For example, herion users in Russia substituting heroin for krokodil. I used to have respect for cops, until they persistently over the years started fucking with me. If you don't want to get shot by a crazed gunman from a population of civilians who you are paid to go round and terrorise, then don't join the police force, simple as that. No sympathy from me.
^ I hope you aware you are generalizing. Not every cop is like that, and not even every force in every community is out to terrorize (a particular kind of) civilians. But I agree with you on the war on drugs. It does more damage than good.
They still wore the badge though, because they had families to feed. Most soldiers in WW1 and 2 didn't actually fight, they were only doing their job. Why not do the right thing instead? It takes a braver man to stand up to his own government. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TxKjwrvf4vE
Maybe because I was just minding my own business, not bothering anyone and they were bored, who knows
Methinks I Could Make An Educated Guess At This Point In Time...............But I Won't........ Cheers Glen.
Depends on which time. Like the time me and my housemates went out into a field in the outskirts of North London to watch a meteor shower, then got followed by a helicopter, then on the way back set on by a gang of plain clothes. We thought they were the guys the helicopter was after. So did they. But they didn't need to show their badges, all they had to do was be extremely rude and threatening towards us, search us and then leave us to make our way home through the dark bushes and trees partially traumatised. Or perhaps you are talking about the time when I was in the red light district in Amsterdam, having a meal and the restaurant said it was ok to smoke my hash pipe inside, however out of courtesy I went outside to smoke it in the doorway, then along comes PC Fatman to confiscate my pipe, patronise and condescend me and then slap a hard drugs fine on my which I later had to pay 420 Euro for (yes, 420), and now I have a hard drugs conviction in Holland even though I was only smoking a bit of hash. Challenged twice in court. Judges are also cunts. Interestingly, PC Fatman looked a bit like a Dutch version of the cop on the right in the photo in the OP.
I can't say that I personally give a shit about the lives of these cops. I didn't know them. Having said that, it's still dispicable that parts of society actively call for the death and murder of police officers... and get away with it.
