^ hahaha I don't think I've ever heard of anyone idolizing evil Knievel.. He was just some lame stunt guy who risked his life for money and fame. Although his death did make breaking news for 15 seconds on my local news station.
I gotta say I've watched a couple interviews of him, and he had some real personality. They don't make people like him anymore. Not saying he was the smartest guy out there, but he was who he said he was and didn't give a fuck about anything else.
icon to americana true grit old school say it how it is. do it the way i want. and do it like a bad ass. really at the end of the day......shit i can't remember anything im a stoner LOL
the guy definitely made some intense jumps. i saw a show like a day after he died and he did some crazy shit.
He pushed boundaries, forged a new path in entertainment and living. he fell down, and got back up. after traction. he is the American icon, of America herself. the freedom to risk life and limb, for thrills and fame. He was great, and will continue to be great, and will live on in hearts and minds, and those "most extreme crashes" reruns. I guess I thought I was Elvis Presley but I'll tell ya something. All Elvis did was stand on a stage and play a guitar. He never fell off on that pavement at no 80 mph. Evel Knievel I think these shows with the young kids doing these jumps, doing these fantastic back flips, I think they're absolutely great. They did what I never did. Evel Knievel You come to a point in your life when you really don't care what people think about you, you just care what you think about yourself. Evel Knievel
