Last night on 3/17/2014 Donald Michael Kraig took his final breath and returned to the void. I know many people on HF do not even know who he is but those that have studied the occult and magic for any length of time will likely remember with fondness the book that made this author famous and became a turning point for many aspiring magicians. That book was simply titles "Modern Magick". It is considered a classic these days and has been a staple in any magic library for the last 20 years. It was THE book that for so many well known magicians of this day, inspired them in their youth and moved them away from some of the fluffy new age watered down misinformation and pointed them in a new direction of doing real esoteric magic. Though most of us move on from this book to do more intensive work and study on the path to becoming adepts, this book and this author will always hold a special place for so many of us. With that said the magical community mourns the loss of and bids a fond farewell to Donald Michael Kraig.
