anyone read any off his stuff, he has like forty books out and they are all great, if your into King, but get tired of his boring melodramatic mind twists.. or if your into Koontz but tired of his 'iwannabestephenking' plots, then try LAYMON he is so good at writing gruesome horrible stories (so great) while devoloping likeable and most importantly, readable characters that you want to see beat the mass murderer that is stalking them. Ive read them all some are great, some seem to miss the point and are a bit disapointing. the stake is unmissable! did anyone also know that although he is American, he thanks the British as his books are more of a hit over here and are not that well known in the states. also all of his books bar one are set in California (the other one is about Jake the ripper and set in England) I class myself as a horror fan but if it hadn't been for reading his books I would hardly be. He is simply the nastiest story teller I have ever read! S
I read Travelling Vampire Show....I don't think that was set in California....and the Stake was set in Nevada I think....
