My lover and friend has been carrying on a relationship with another woman - unfortunetly the other woman is his wife - of 25 years. The story........ We met a year ago (on my birthday), Besides a huge age difference - it has been a very good connection - spent much time togeather traveling - yosemite, tahoe, hood river OR., and recently we moved to San Felipe, Mexico w/ my two year old son to begin a life togeather. The short version is - I started to have doubts about him, pulled his info. via internet - called his home in Pleasenton, CA and ouch! Vicky his wife answered the phone and also my questions. So, Revenge - get the asshole back - he deserves it? Or Forgiveness - know I'm better knowing the truth and move on? Please add advice for both - and your thoughts.

Well, I don't know about your full situation, nor do I wish to pry it out of you... But one thing I always advise against is revenge.

Revenge is such a waste of time and energy and usually winds up making matters much worse.

Cut the strings that bind, sweetheart.

Get 2 rocks, imagine theyre his testicles and smash them with a long handled mallet - swinging it over your head like. You'll feel much better and you can do it as many times as you like and it's perfectly legal

I think his wife has a right to know
but don't glory it up, don't make it hurt her
just let her know what happened
and end all contact with them there

hey thanx guys - i have talked to his wife - she knows, i know, he knows we know - he spits many apologies - i'm not sure they are sincere, frankly i don't care - i have checked out of the situation , respectfully for my own head & health - but also for her. I'm feeling horrible - it's worse because i am having to go back to Mexico to collect my belongings - i would write the stuff off - but some things i cannot do w/ out ( passports, ect. ) Yuck! conversing with this man, arranging to get stuff without seeing him is a flop - i think he is holding my stuff hostage as an excuse to see me. sicko! What should a girl do?

Get your stuff - make like you know exactly what you are doing and make it clear your not going to fool around anymore. If he tries to hug you say NO.Thats what women have done to me before and it worked for them :D
Oh and dont reply to any text messages he might send

YOU have it worse? You've known him for how long, and she's known him for 25 plus years?
