I usually only post in this sub-forum to talk about the 2c-x drugs, mainly 2c-I, but I have a different query.

I am prescribed Vyvanse (Dextroamphetamine prodrug) and enjoy it immensely. However, I can't take extra amounts of it on certain occasions (like parties, seeing friends, staying up late) that I would LIKE to. You see, I have been doing that for awhile and i always run short and have to suffer through three or four days at the end of the month without any medicine, which is bad for my mental health.

So, i have been researching commonly available chemicals that also act as Dopamine releasers or Dopamine reuptake inhibitors. However, I can't narrow down to which on is most like regular amphetamine. Most of them "boast" to be somehow like MDMA, and I really don't care if it is like that or not.

Any input would be appreciated. For those unfamiliar with D-amphetamine, it is mentally stimulating, but not too jittery. It is devoid of any psychedelic effects.

I've heard great things about 4-FA, most of the people I know who've used it prefer it to Amphetamine though I believe the dose is somewhat higher. There are a lot of reports of people finding it really lacking - but all of them are where people were comparing it to MDMA and expecting something of that sort. All the regular Amphetamine users I know loved it very much.

For other straight stims there's MDPV, but it's easy to go overboard with that quickly due to the low dosage and I've heard it resembles a more Cocaine/Ritalin like high than an Amphetamine one.

Cool. I haven't heard of 4-FA, but I have seen it on various sites before. I have seen MDPV on a lot of sites and I am attracted to it, because I really like Methylphenidate highs, especially insufflated. In fact, I was prescribed Concerta and Ritalin instead of amphetamine for about a year. I have also heard of the following: Methylone and Buphedrone. Any ideas about them? Dosing isn't a problem. I can scale appropriate doses and given my years of experience with Methylphendiate and Amphetamine, I know when to 'stop' in a session haha.

Thanks again for all the help.

methylone is solid, though short-lived (3-4 hours)...maybe check out aMT, very long duration and a bit psychedelic

^^that's not what he's looking for though.

i've never tried any of these drugs, but i don't think u want methylone...it's more "like mdma" kinda. same probably for buphedrone?

4FA is more of a straight stim, but take what i say with the tiniest grain of salt

    Thank you, much, pork.

I have it narrowed down to MDPV and 4FA. I probably won't order for another week though, so keep posting your opinions.

i've not read one positive thing about MDPV. mostly people hating it and throwing it away. i haven't seen as much written about 4-FA. i don't search for info on these though, since i'm not interested in trying them. the "F" freaks me out a little, since fluorinated compounds (some) are notoriously toxic, due to fluorine's high electronegativity, it binds to some enzymes and doesn't let go. keep ur doses low please

Yeah. You don't have to worry about me doing anything 'stupid.' I have at least 5 years of experience with responsible taking of psychostimulants, mainly Ritalin and Adderall, but more recently Vyvanse.

I will use a 0.001g scale in measuring such stimulants and I already have been reading up on their comparative pharmacology.

As for MDPV, it seems most of the 'train wreck' stories stem from stupid people who don't carefully weigh out the dose OR stem from stimulant novices who can't control their urge to re-dose. Obviously years back, I was prone to endless redosing as well, but I have figured out how to control my urges and such. Not that I am 'perfect', but I do think I am one of the more responsible stimulant users out there.

Let me know if you think of any other compounds. As you correctly pointed out, I DON'T want an MDMA-esque substance. I just want a straight-amphetamine-like stimulant. I have enough 2C-I to function as my 'MDMA-esque' compound. Like I mentioned, I simply want something extra to take at parties since I don't drink, and I don't have enough extra Vyvanse to take at parties.

If you want an RC for parties get methylone, 2ci is not a substitute for MDMA or methylone.

MDPV is alright if you think you can really resist the urge to redose. The comedown made me more foggy headed and confused than other stimulants which made me compulsively redose, the high is not even all that euphoric imo but it gives an alertness similar to vyvanse.

I will look more into methylone. I just read somewhere that it is like MDMA, and would rather just have a classical stimulant effect. But, I trust your judgement, given we have talked about such things many times in the past.

UPDATE: After a week of going back and forth between which one to get, I finally decided on 4-FA after doing more research into MDPV, which seems to get highly negative reviews from people. I am excited to see what this compound can offer. I should be trying it by mid-next-week and I will update this thread with a review of it.

Thanks for all of the help, guys!

hopefully u heeded my warning from before about the potential toxicity of fluorinated compounds like 4-FA

Read up specifically on 4-FA. It is not toxic to the degree of the compounds you are referring to. Seriously, just do a search about it. I am not dumb enough to intentionally poison myself, which should be evident from my hundreds of posts advocating safe drug use.

I haven't tried too many RCs (or Dex), but think 4-FA or 4-FMA would be a close fit. They're amphetamines with a sort of chill feeling that allows you to focus and be productive without "tweaking". They have a slight empathogenic effect, but not as strong as methylone or even mephedrone.

MPA (methiopropamine) is supposedly very similar to methamphetamine, though I haven't ventured there myself.

    ^^did u say in another thread that u hate 4-FMA? why's that?

didn't mean to be patronizing, etkearne....just putting all the info out there. i know my post wasn't really all that informative, but it serves as a warning for anyone reading this thread - not just u.

Understandable. Most research shows the OTHER fluorinated compounds but not 4-FA are neurotoxic, mainly due to their strong serotonin releasing properties.

You know etkearne I believe you follow your research and body's reactions on what's working for you- because the psychiatrists and neurologists are frankly incapable of being able to determine to needs of the individual client as they only see parts of the mosaic and because of the morality issues what with how they prescribe, which is just as addictive as anything else...
it's just like how I am seizure prone because I always had temporal lobe hyperactivity along with Bi Polar II, but and then when I endure the PTSD that added to it, and then i was put on heavy dosages of SNRIs, and binge drank, for a few years (both of which lower the seizure threshold), quit alcohol entirely at 27 (i never enjoyed drinking, only did it as protocal for hooking up w men & was in a relationship w an alcoholic), so gratefully quit when at 27 and turned to pot- and pot HELPS with seizures, however, another psychiatrist added another SNRI to my other SNRI-although I was was immediately taken off the one SNRI, I had a major psychosis, seizures, and permanent brain damage- now thank god I'm on epileptic drugs, because now I do have permanent seizures- and see, that's why I can't do amphetimes, ecstasy, or cocaine, (or tramadol), but pot (which helps seizures), opiates (safe for seizures) and valium (a seizure taming benzo), are the best choices for me;although i dont enjoy valium. but it just goes to show how all these pieces fit together, but the doctors are usually so daft you have to figure it out for yourself- and the irony is the anti epileptic medication i am taking that has stopped my seizures is what I should have been on in the first place, because those are the druges most successful for treating BiPolar II, PTSD which is what i had- why wasn't I prescribed them over a decade ago in the first place? :(

I got my 4-Fluroamphetamine yesterday. In lieu of my Vyvanse, i took this stuff instead. I started with 50mg oral, which didn't do much, so I pushed it up by 50mg until I got to 150mg, which was sufficient.

It lacked some of the "punch" of traditional amphetamines, which i disliked. It felt more 'emotional' in a way, probably from the serotonin releasing properties. It DID control my psychiatric symptoms however. Overall, I liked it, but not as much as Dextroamphetamine. I liked it about as much as Methylphenidate.

I plan on taking it again soon, perhaps in lieu of Vyvanse tomOrrow.

4-FA is a really cool substance. However, there are a lot of vendors out there with absolute SHIT 4-FA that doesn't do much of anything but give you a shitty comedown a few hours later. Legit 4-FA is the shiznit. It's not as euphoric as methylone but its very nice and it lasts longer. It also seems to come in waves instead of being a plateau.

Luckily, the vendor I chose, after much research, panned out to be good. I have to take a little more than what some recommend, but it is certainly real 4-Fluoroamphetamine, as I can tell because it has no comedown, it is not jittery at all, but is still both euphoric AND helps me focus and keep attention just like Amphetamine Proper.

I guess you just gotta do your homework and check out as many vendors as you can.
