remember being 15 and thinking what it would be like at 18?

and then being 18 and wondering about being 21...and now i think to myself...in three months ill be 28...30 is just around the corner...whew...time does fly...

 

oh man i know exactly what you mean. I'm 22 and sometimes I still feel like I just turned 16. i've got all these "grown up" resposibilities, sometimes I wake up and think geez when the hell did all this happen? but, here I am. I know Im still young and I don't want the rest of my young adult life to slip away from me as easily. I think I appreciate things more bc I've realized this...

 

I like to think I'm ageing gracefully.

i've definitely backslid into blissful juvenile behavior.

 

I had all these plans for the future and some things happened which massively derailed them.

But I have a lot of perspective now that I didn't have before. So that heps.

 

I remember that, bit I ays looked forward to being on my own. My growing up years were none too pleasant, so I couldnt wait to get out. Even the responsibilities are easier, at least im happy now. thats a good thing. I cant wait to see what happens. I will be 25 this year!! eek.

 

i keep accidentally telling people i'm 25 for some reason... i'll still be 24 until december...

 

Oh God, I'm gonna be 20 in less than a year.

yknow its funny. i was sooo together at 17. living on my own, working pt, doing uni, getting good grades, etc

then i hit a slump for 3 years after i moved back in with mein mutter, had massive depression to deal with, coworkers who hated me at one of my jobs, etc etc

finally back on track at 22 (well, it started at 21) after getting a sweet job, moving in with my bf, graduating soon now, etc.


i dunno, i remember thinking at like 13 that the 16 year olds were huge and so mature looking and so awesome. im kinda happy with how my life is going now, not really worried about age n stuff

 

about 40 youll start goin,,wow im 40 and i feel better than i ever imagined when i was 25,,i wonder how healthy i feel at 45??

or at least thats been my experience...

i quit paying attention to my age and started listening to my bones about mid 30's,...

 

When I was 14-15 I was a hippie with hair past my shoulders and I wanted to stay that way forever. My worst nightmare was having short hair, wearing button-up shirts and listening to electronic music.

I cant wait till im 19, ill have money in the bank and ill be able to drink at bars. I dont look forward to my 25+ years at all, i dont know what ill be doing.

But I prefer being 31 to being 30. I'll tell you that.

 

I don't think about being 21.... the thought scares me lol. Responsibility... *shudders*

 

I know. But responsibility is fun once you get the hang of it.

I joined this place when I was a hippie, yes.

But if anything, I've lost respect for hippies hanging around here. But there's plenty of cool people around. Especially in RT.
