its the 21st century and people still believe in god and his other imaginary friends. religion in all shapes and forms are cults. atheists should rise up and destroy this evil before it destroys the world

 

Haha, whilst religion certainly was used to control the masses, that doesn't mean there is no higher purpose or "god" if you will.

 

the higher purpose is the evolutionary process of the human race and the eventual exploration of the galaxy. if we dont evolve and leave earth then our species will become extinct. there is no god and never was a god

 

myself i don't beleve the bible was writen with the words from god but we did need it but not now cus al its doing now is causing wars homophobia + other problems its turned on its self it was first writen by man or aliens to help us become more evolved the bible has reached its point, we need a new understanding and fast cus ww3 an't that far away thats what i beleave anyway

Atheists are just as bad as those brainwashed by organized religion. And atheism IS a religion because religion is based on faith. Those who are atheists have faith that humans are nothing more than material objects who simply wither away to dust when their time is finished.

I believe in god, and jesus, and jah rastafari, as a rastafari myself i believe that all religion is evil.

Religion should be wiped out and people should stop warring about what to call god, whether it be 'god, allah, jehovah' or whatever.

I see so many religions and most of them all believe pretty much the same things and the same one god, why not just stop all the wars over it.

And im sorry to any catholics on here but the pope is not holy. The pope system in the vatican is nothing short of religious government and i dont believe in governments either.

Religion is wrong and all the stigma that goes with it. The people that believe in 'god' as it is should just get along and stop fighting over it.

 

that's nice and all, but whenever you say something should be "wiped out", problems arise. namely the billions of people that don't really want their religion to be wiped out.

the key to life is moderation. to each their own. religion crosses the line when they start to worry about what everybody else is up to.

Animism is the oldest religion on earth, and they don't worship the sun.

Zeitgeist was an interesting movie, but it is riddled with holes. When millions of people goto church on Sunday, they aren't worshiping the son. They are worshiping whatever it says in its doctrines.

It can definitely seem like they worship the sun, but the same terms can be used to express something entirely different.
