Just letting all you mamas know. There is a virus going around my area that attacks babies. The local hospitals here are so full of babies that they are turning people away! All I know about it is that it gives babies really high fevers that won't go down. My step-mom has a friend with it. The babies fever is over 105 and they've done everything they can including running IV's to cool it's blood, nothing is working. I don't know if it's happening everywhere, just be alert. I live in the Northern VA metropolitan DC area.
I saw that episode too. This is really happening though. When I find out more, I'll let you know about it. This womans baby is preemie, but my step-mom said that it's not just preemies are being affected.
saddest show i've ever watched. i tend to avoid them. i hate to think of anything hurting babies. do they know what it is yet?
