I want to start making nice crafts from old used material. I already found instructions on making paper, I haven't tried it yet but it sounds great.
    any other ideas to share??
I use a lot of cans and glass containers at home... I usually save some because I know I can make it in to something else.
Were I work there is a lot of garbage (internet cafe)... we use maybe 5 to 7 plastic gallons of water every day. paper is wasted, flopy discs are left behind, cardboard boxes used to bring food in almost every day, glass bottles and cans are just filling up the trash.
I've started saving the water gallons to make pots out of them. made a few, work really well.
what else can I make with these things?
I can't stand seeing all this waste, it's too much.
the owner wont recycle so I'm on my own.

I use glass bottles from various drinks and bottle herb salts for cooking and they make great gifts. I save cans and 2 litre bottles and my dad makes them into airplanes and whirly gigs to decorate you camp site at festivals. I use old wine bottles to hold vinegars and toners I make. I use plastic grocery bags to weave into rugs, place mats ect. Keep it all and use it to store kitchen itmes in.
