i have a stihl 65 cc....it will cut down anything.....stihl has a great warranty and mine has never broke down or had a ''non start''.....its not a cheap unit though....roughly 700 up here all in what type of tree....if its good firewood someone will do it free....i know i would
buying a chain saw to cut down one tree. sounds a bit like overkill. unless you have other trees you want to cut down in your future. i'd make a wild guess that paying someone else to cut it down might be a little cheaper. that is a wild guess though, since i have no idea what either go for these days.
Get an old rusty one that sounds badass like the ones in movies. Bitches love rusty old chainsaws that sound badass just like in the movies.
If you have never used a chainsaw before get someone else to do it, or you may end up qualifying for a Darwin award.
is it weird someone named ''tree'' is in a tree cutting down thread?....lol but good point.....hire someone DO NOT buy an electric one unless the tree is really tiny also@irmy....I promise you my chainsaw sounds badass....real chainsaw guys compliment me on my stihl
i havent had a stihl yet but i have a nice echo ...a husqvarna and a few poulans also a bunch of electrics that people gave me...those are for loaning out ..i dont loan the good stuff to anyone except my dad and he has he own good stuff anyway...his are mostly husqvarnas ..pioneers..and a few dolmar
I've used husqi's and stihl's. I think stihl's are more reliable as they have an outboard clutch, whereas husqi's have an onboard one.
The best way to explain it is that with a husqi you can take the bar off with the chainbrake on, but if you do that with a stihl you'll fuck it up.
