It was class c which is the lowest scale for drugs i believe. The reasoning is the increasing potency of bud. They say "skunk weed" is giing people mental illness. All in all same old propoganda bullshit.

That's the same bullshit they use to try and shut down coffeeshops over here. However, professional non government related research has shown no difference compared to lower potency. Some people can get mentally ill from cannabis, but it's not the cannabis .. the cannabis opens the door earlier in their life. But even without cannabis these people would probably get the same illness ... but maybe later in life.

In the news you sometimes hear crazy stories about that the potency causes it to be way more addictive. lol, they got to be fucking kidding me. This is threatning the soft laws over here however.

And why is alcohol and cigarettes still legal ... I can recall alot of reseaches that say both these drugs are more harmfull and addictive then cannabis will ever be (even when you smoke oil 24/7).

Oil is already illegal over here. It's called a harddrug because of it's potency ... errr.

Even through their own govt funded studies, they've found it is something like less than 2% of marijuana users that are at risk for developing psychosis from it. And like everyone said, if it wasnt the cannabis triggering it, likely it would be something else.
