Hi, I recently met this guy who we agreed to be friends with no sorta string attached. When we are together, we talk like friends talk however, the night usually turns in to making out and oral sex. I have recently told him that I realize this was suppose to be a n/s/a friendship but I have stronger feelings for him, we made out again. He has sent me text messages that all he has to offer is friendship. He also tells me he wants to live a life a little as he just got out of a 7 years relationship. At the same time, he told me he tried to date someone since then and it didn't workout. He also has sent me text messages saying, "Been thinking about you, have a great day my friend". He also sends me a text message saying, "I have never told a guy this before, but I want to have n/s/a sex with you when the time is right". In addition he tells me he thinks about me a lot.

My point is, he sends me very mixed vibes. I have very strong feelings for him. Actually, I have allowed myself to become vulnerable and fall in love with him to the point he is always on my mind.

Since I am new to the gay lifestyle, I am very confused and do not know what to do. I love him, but I do not want to ruin a friendship at the same time by trying to take things too far.

    Please Help!!!

    Thanks!

If he has only just become single, it's probably important not to step on his toes. You could be his rebound, or he could be trying to play the field. 7 years is a long relationship to have. I would have probably advised you to not become too emotionally invested in him yet, but it seems you already have!

Let him come to you when he is good and ready, but if he tends to lead you on, at least be assured that a chance may come about someday. That much he would owe you.
