Taken from the March 31, 2005 edition of "The Rhinoceros Times": "PROTESTEES PUT A HURTIN' ON PROTESTORS In London, 35 Greenpeace protestors rushed onto the floor of the International Petroleum Exchange in February, intending to paralyze oil trading on the day the Kyoto environmental initiative took effect, but, unexpectedly, the traders turned on them, punching and kicking the protestors until they ran for their lives. (Two were hospitalized.) Said one protestor, "I've never seen anyone less amanable to listening to our point of view." And New Zealand computer technician Simon Oosterman,24, who says he goes naked everywherein public to protest society's dependence on the automobile, paused outside an Auckland district courtroom in February, took clothing from his backpack and got dressed to step inside to enter his not-guilty plea to an earlier charge of indecent exposure." The first story is just plain sad.....but the second one is friggin' hilarious!
The second is about a sexual pervert. What he does has nothing to do with real protest and actualy makes any idea he adopts look ridiculous, because he is ridculous. In the first, those protesters were peacefull? Well, because I know Greenpeace and antiglobalists are not the same thing, but many antiglobalisation protesters deserved their botts kicked.
