ok...we have a couple plants that are starting to bud...question is...after harvest can we cut down the plant and go for anouther harvest? Parameters?
Are you talking about starting more or re-veging the existing to get another harv from?Be more specific!
I assume you are indoors and it is as simple as leaving some of the lower foliage/buds on after harv, begin using veg ferts again and set lights back to 18/6 and within a few weeks there should be new veg growth if not already.
Harvest all but a few of the lower branches/nodes/and or buds, prune all the upper bare branches and place back into 18/6,can take up to 4 weeks or as little as 1 week depending on how photo responsive the strain in question to resume normal veg growth.
after they've grown back in the veg cycle for some time (2+ weeks or more) you can put them back in the flowering period. and harvest again. there are a few cons to go with the pros of this idea. I have not done it myself so i'll wait for those who have. i would imagine a less productive turnout than before to say the least.
In some cases yield/potency can depreciate, but generally that occurs only when one has reveged/flowered a plant numerous times.I have yet to have one with any loss on the first time around.
