This is the first serious sign yet of where gaming graphics are headed over the next decade. Imagination Technologies is the only other group I know of that specializes in ray tracing for cellphones. It looks amazing with a good display but, in another ten years, chips will be powerful enough to cheaply make every TV a star trek holodeck computer. The issue is price, and these chips are intended for cellphones and cheap notebooks, but the sooner these are developed for smaller screens, the sooner they come down in price on the Big Screen.
