Raven

This is Raven my daughter with her blankie when she was three.

i did something completly different with this drawing i used no smudging type stuff. i did all the shadows with another pencil. It was difficult for me because to me it appears grainy, but its good for me to try something different.

used mechincal pencil, 4h, 2h for shadows, and 6b and 8b for real darkness.

 

What can I say? I love it!

I´d say you did the nose and her left eye the best.
Did you draw her from a pic or while she lay there?

 

it was a old picture she picked out for me to draw.

 

its very good crystal. almost looks like a photo.

 

way to kick ass crystal... the eyes are awesome, along with the rest of the face. makes me think the piece of paper it's drawn on is about to fall asleep along with raven...

I like eyes, eyes rock to draw... so simple yet complicated.

lol I never even thought of what other pencil values there are. 2h and 6b sound like types of motor oil or something.

 

lol yeah they art good pencils you can get them at any art store... just different shades
